Arriving at 7.30 and Laurie still managed to get there before us having had a good clear run. Setup as usual on the stage
and in addition a small table with the DCC Workshop on the floor front of stage with two traders whose stands did
not obstruct the view of our main stand. It was also Lauries birthday on the Tuesday after the exhibition so a card and cake were in order.
Cab-It as always sorted out the stand and then just after 10am disappeared off to Matts mudhut to collect the two grandchildren,
Cameron and Victoria. Returning to the exhibition later in the morning after a visit to the hairdresser for Cameron and the shops.
The lack of photos in this report is a result of Cab-Its other more important task during the day.
As always with this exhibition, the layouts and tradestands are spread around the building but provide the modeller with the opportunity
to see a variety of layouts in size, scale and era. Our own Ianm42 was there with Coley Park in 2mm, Matt even took the opportunity
to do some shunting as a respite from virtual shunting. Overall an excellent exhibition.
As always, the photographs on this page and the larger ones they link to are much smaller than the full size originals which are 3072 x 2304
and around 1.2Mb each. If you would like a full size copy then please email our support desk support@uktrainsim.com.
Our thanks to the Roding Valley Model Railway Group for the invitation, the refreshments and the location.
Our thanks to all those that gave of their time to help us demonstrating, to those who dropped by for a chat
and to the members of the public who visited the exhibition over the weekend.
