Because this is a very local exhibition for us, we arrive around 7.30am for setup. Same location as previous years on the stage.
Not long after, Danny, John and Bronwyn arrived and set up was achieved easily by 9am.
An excellent selection of layouts in different scales and gauges and a good selection of traders.Deals to be made, including a superb Bachmann 24 with sound with 4 telescopic steel carriers in Tiphook Rail blue.
The DCC Workshop was on display here with TWO Virgin Voyagers, Johns in 'N' and Dannys in 'OO'. Numerous questions were asked and answered from which system should I get, which
decoders whould I use and several how do I....? One question that regularly crops up "Why do I need a bus?".
The photographs on this page and the larger ones they link to are much smaller than the full size originals which are 3072 x 2304 and around 1.2Mb each. If you would like a full size copy then please email our support desk firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our thanks to Derek Orr and the ONE MRC for the invitation, the refreshments and the location.
Our thanks to those who dropped by for a chat and to the members of the public who visited the exhibition over
the weekend. We hope to see you all here again next year on Saturday 20th August 2011.
